Welcome to Willow class, which is our foundation stage classroom with a mix of FS1 and FS2 children. FS1 children are those 3-4yr olds who are eligible for funded sessions in school and FS2 children are those who have started full time school as their reception year.

Sunday 18th April

We are looking forward to seeing the children back in school for our final term in Reception! Our tiny caterpillars have now become beautiful butterflies and we will be setting them free this week! Our new topic this term is 'Adventure Time'. See our medium term plans on this page for more details :)

Wednesday 17th March

It is so great to have the children back in school and enjoying all the fun activities we have on offer. Today we were very excited as we had a delivery... some very tiny and very hungry caterpillars! We can't wait to watch them grow and change!

Monday 22nd February

It has been a very strange beginning of the year with our children working so hard to complete their learning at home and getting used to sharing things with us on TEAMS! We are hopeful that in a few short weeks our class will be back to it's busy self, buzzing with excitement! Our new topic Growing and Changing has lot's of exciting learning opportunities to explore starting with the lovely story of the Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. 

Friday 15th January

Well, it certainly wasn't the new year we were hoping for with the majority of Willow class learning from home. We are VERY proud of how all the children are adapting to the new ways of learning, taking part in the activities set and using the packs of resources that we have sent home. See the bottom of our page for some photos of the excellent remote learning that Willow have been taking part in. 

Wednesday 30th December

Well... what a super first time we all had in Willow class. The wedding was wonderful (albeit very cold as it decided to snow on us!) and gave the children a chance to see our lovely little village church!

We have enjoyed the build up to Christmas and are looking forward to starting our new learning in January as well as welcoming some new pupils.

Exciting News!!!!!!!

We are going to be holding our very own class wedding soon! We are learning all about different celebrations and decided that we could re-enact our own wedding at our local church. We will give out roles, get dressed up and head down to the church for the special occasion!
