Pupil Premium

What is the Pupil Premium? 

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to the school by the Government to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure they have the same opportunities as other children. 

 

Who is eligible? 

  • Children in Reception to Year 6 who are currently eligible, or have been in the last 6 years, to Free School Meals
  • Children in care 
  • Children previously in care who have been adopted, or who have a special guardianship order, a child arrangement order or a residence order
  • Children whose parents are currently serving in the Armed Forces or are in receipt of a pension from the Ministry of Defence
