Children who's need is identified as 'Communication and Interaction' often find it difficult to express themselves. They may find it hard to understand what others are saying, find it hard to read social clues or cannot process information as easily as others. Children may find it difficult to interact appropriately with other children and peers. They may also have some specific sensory needs. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) will have their need identified as Communication and Interaction.
