Snowdon
Our EYFS team
Welcome to our Early Years class at Snowdon, where we nurture children’s development in a joyful, engaging, and supportive environment. Our groups—Owls, Puffins, and Robins—are designed to foster each child's curiosity and creativity, with activities tailored to their developmental stage, from 2 to 5 years old.
At Snowdon, we embrace the Curiosity Approach, which focuses on child-led learning through play and exploration. We encourage children to discover the world around them, sparking their imagination and building their confidence. By using natural, open-ended resources and minimizing the use of traditional toys, we create opportunities for the children to think critically, problem-solve, and take charge of their learning journey.
Our curriculum follows the Development Matters guidance from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This ensures that every child develops across key areas such as communication, language, physical development, and emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s exploring nature in the garden or engaging in hands-on activities inside, our goal is to nurture your child’s growth holistically.
We are proud of our community-focused environment, where the Owls, Puffins, and Robins work closely with our dedicated educators. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring that every child thrives both at home and in the classroom.
We look forward to welcoming you to Snowdon and helping your child flourish in a place where their curiosity is celebrated!
