At Leverton Church of England Academy, we deliver our Religious Education curriculum using the Nottinghamshire Agreed Syllabus and "The Understanding Christianity" program, enhanced by our carefully chosen lenses: Express and Wonder, and Faiths and Worldviews. These lenses enable children to progress by encouraging them to express their thoughts and question the wider world around them. Through the Express and Wonder lens, students explore and articulate their own beliefs and experiences, fostering a sense of curiosity and awe. In the Worldviews and Faiths lens, they delve into different religions and perspectives, gaining an appreciation for cultural diversity and the complexities of belief systems. This approach ensures that our students develop a wide-ranging understanding of various cultures and beliefs, all while embracing our Christian values of hope, encouragement, acceptance, respect, and trust.
